The 2012 Paper Tiger Catamaran Australian Championships will be held at Mannering Park Amateur Sailing Club, on the Central Coast of NSW. Dates for the series are Tuesday 3rd January 2012 to Sunday 8th January 2012. (NOTE DATE CHANGE) |

The 2012 Nationals will feature a shortened program of six days. Registration, Measuring, Invitation Race and the Welcome Night will all be held on Tuesday, 3rd January 2012. The series will end on Sunday, 8th January with the final two races and the Presentation Night. (NOTE DATE CHANGES)

Please note that the series has been pushed back one day to start on Tuesday 3rd January 2012 and finish on Sunday 8th January 2012.
This is to align with the booking period of the adjacent caravan park (Big4 Lake Macquarie - Monterey Tourist Park). We became aware of a misunderstanding in the booking period information which would have made it awkward for competitors. The NSWPTCA committee has discussed the issue and, as we believe that accommodation is a priority, we have decided that pushing the series back a day is the only real option. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. |

The Central Coast and Newcastle/Hunter regions of New South Wales are popular tourist venues that we believe will provide an enjoyable holiday destination for sailors and their families. Mannering Park is tucked away in a quieter area, but is conveniently located in relationship to many major tourist attractions.

Mannering Park Amateur Sailing Club is situated on the southern end of Lake Macquarie. The club has hosted many successful events and holds an annual 14ft catamaran regatta that has seen fleets of over 50 boats.
